Yes,our boat decking foam material is marine gradeso it is UV resistantand salt water proof.

Is the product slippery when wet?

No. Synthetic teak has a sure foot grip when wet which is better than teak or non-skid fiberglass areas.

How to maintain the synthetic teak ?

Because synthetic teak is a plastic product, it doesn’t require any of the maintenance demanded by teak and it’s easy to clean. You never need to apply any protectants, oils, or other products to preserve the finish. Fish blood, food, drinks, and dirt are easily washed away.

What kind of surface can synthetic teak be applied over?

The adhesive will bond to wood, fiberglass, steel, and aluminum. It will also bond to epoxies or fillers used to level or repair the sub-surface, if needed.

existing decking for yacht is marine ply in excellent condition. I wish to gain a "teak" look. The sealing glue MUST be waterproof for at least 10 years. I do not wish it to look too artificial.
